day twenty-nine

Didn't go to school today because I was not breathing well.

Went to work from five to nine though.
I'm fine now.

I wrote about Puritans.
Journaled, wrote a letter, read some Crucible, watched the new Bring it On movie with my mom.
Now I'm going to sleep.

day twenty-eight

Didn't blog yesterday on purpose.
Just not enough time.
I'm irritated in my Pre-Calc class because my teacher doesn't teach.
We "discuss"... tangents... that have NOTHING to do with the lesson.
It's obnoxious.
I like my history and LA classes. A lot. :)
And Mrs. Covington (my math teacher from last year). I. Love. Her.
:)

All-State stuff is on it's way. I'm trying out as a Soprano One.
Probably won't make it, but I'm taking voice lessons from Carol Tralau, so that will definitely help> :)

Oh yeah. I drove around the block today!
I don't have my license or permit and it. was. scary. lol.
I'll get used to it eventually, though.
But, for now, you might want to stay off the streets.
... and sidewalks...

By the way, I got my cough checked out and it's an infection in my chest-ish area, so I have a temp. inhaler for breathing, antibiotics for the infection and cough medicine to help me sleep at night.

AND. I also have youth group and homework.
Sorry, it's not summer, so it's harder to take pictures... meh.

Not much time.
I'm loaded with homework.

I had WSD practice from seven to ten tonight.
I'm tired.
MEGAN BAUER IS A J-HAWK AGAIN!
And I'm psyched. :)
And going to get no sleep.

Again.

day twenty-six

I had to sit outside the sermon in the foyer again today because I was coughing and didn't want to be distracting. But during the Sunday School hour I sat in the sanctuary with everybody else watching the magician that came to perform for us. It was cute. :)

Jordan and I hung out for a couple hours. It was GORGEOUS today! We walked out onto the golf course that got flooded by his house.

I FINALLY finished my chapter noted for history! It took me probably a total of six hours... BLEH.

My parents drove Josh (my older brother) to college in Fort Dodge today so they were gone all day. The girls went over to a friend's house from church and Jason stayed home.

It's been nice and peaceful all day.


OH YEAH!
The WSD girls overnighter was EPIC!
I loved it. :)

I worked this morning from nine to four.
The entire four hours no one but me was in the building.
I guess lessons aren't that popular on Saturday mornings!
I worked on chapter notes for history class and listened to Roackapella.

This afternoon I didn't do much... hung with family, etc.
We've been looking at old family pictures for an hour or so now.
Everybody was SOOO CUTE! :)

Anyways, I'm headed to the WSD girls overnighter.

Yesterday night THE SKY WAS PURPLE!
And marching band was canceled, so I got to hang out with my band friends at the football game! :)
I didn't know that we had to change out for early bird gym this morning so I did our exercises and played frisbee in my ballet flats and skinny jeans. . . yeah.

School got let out at 11:40 this morning because our cafeteria had some flooding so they couldn't serve lunch. In case you don't live where I do, there's some serious flooding going on around here... not anywhere near as badly as last summer, but still very bad... some towns are under water and schools everywhere are out because of piping issues, etc.

And. I'm still coughing my lungs up.
I worked for six hours today.
We're back downtown for work and I LOVE IT THERE!

It's been raining ALL DAY LONG.
It's kind of annoying.... :/
Classes were fine today.
Nothing really special except religion discussion in LA (we're studying the Puritans) and that will definitely turn out to be a very interesting class. :)

The first football game on the new turf at Kingston stadium versus Xavier is tonight.
I think I'm going if the game is still on. I mean, seriously, there's been so much rain that it's flooding streets EVERYWHERE. Ugh.
We'll see.

I got home and checked the mail.
I GOT A LETTER!!!! :)
Only problem is... all the mail was soaked...
