day forty-eight
My mom said to blog--I decided to listen. :)
Today was All-State audition day at Manchester. Breakfast at school; 5:30, leave for Manchester; 6:30... then sit around waiting for warm-ups and performance for my quartet at 11:41. We were all very excited, but it took FOREVER for them to get results. We waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And got irritated. And waited more. And the recall list came up--six Jefferson kids were recalled. And we waited MORE for first round lists... and then they came out. Altos first. Brianna and Kassandra made it. Then Basses. Jordan, ABL, Aaron, and Tanner made it. Then Sopranos. Jamie and I made it. Then Tenor's Christian and Yasa. Our entire ensemble made it!!
The best part of the day was the actual audition. In warm-ups we were pretty excited because we thought we sounded good. And during the audition we were all smiling at each other--excited--because we were sooo happy that things just sounded amazing! So, afterwards we had a big, huge, happy group hug and it was a great moment.
From there the day just dragged on. I still have a cold and my voice is killing me. And I have a million hours of block homework... meh. And. I would like some sleep. Because I'm quite tired.

Long week.
LAST ITEDS EVER!!! PSAT the next day. Math team competition the next day. Sick the next day. Work was today. Then I went to Playtime Poppy with Jordan, Veronica, and Jon.
Jordan and I went to Pretzel Maker in the mall afterwards and walked around and talked. I'm crazy about that kid. XD
Anyways, as promised, here are some pictures that I took from my photoshoot with Megan. Like I said, I took, she edited. :)

day forty-six
I feel bad that it's the... eleventh of October and this is only my THIRD post!
I'm terrible... lol.
It's a THREE-DAY WEEKEND! Woot!
:)
Yesterday Kylie and Shannon came over after school. We tried to do homework but got distracted by techno music and the fact that we're all very ticklish. LOL. XD
We bundled up in gloves, hats, coats, scarves and blankets and went to the Jeff v. Wash game. Of course we lost. It was fun, though! After the game, Kylie, Shannon and Cory went out to Perkins and Jordan and I went out to McDonald's. Kylie and Shannon stayed overnight. We talked. And laughed. And made Muddy Buddies (puppy chow... whatever... lol) and had an epic powdered sugar fight. hahaha. I love them! It's nice for all of us to spend time together because we're all NOT in band and we live so close.
And Yes. Owl City is STILL amazing!! :)
I worked this morning. Then took a nap. Then hung out with my everything, Megan Bauer♥ We did an indoor photoshoot. I'm her intern--I took pictures with Paul (her amazing camera) and they turned out so well! I'll post some of them on here soon! Promise! I took the one's of her, she took the one's of me. She does the editing, though.
Ahh. The last marching band competition was today which means that everybody will be able to hang out together soon. I love friends. Love. Love. Love. Especially my ladies:)

Because that's approximately the number of days that it will take for me to get to three-hundred-and-sixty-five posts. No joke. Oh well. XD
Today was fine.
I had All-State practice after school.
I have an LA speech to work on.
Stayed after school for two hours and took a nap waiting for my parents.
Boy, it's sure getting COLD outside!!
My newest love is Owl City.
I love Fireflies and Vanilla Twilight by him.
Amazing. :)
Anyways, not much time, just thought I'd update...
Marching band ends soon which means that I'll be able to hang out with all of my friends again!

day forty-four
The homecoming dance was last night!
I'm excited for Musial Theater--I GOT JASON ROBERT BROWN MUSIC!! :DD
I'm in a group with the sophomores and I love them. :)
Shannon, Kylie and I went shopping together on Friday for homecoming jewelry. Shannon and I found what we were looking for--Kylie wasn't looking. lol. It was fun and I LOVE those girls!! :)
The homecoming football game was later that night. Choir had to sing. Band didn't have to come, though. It was FREEZING! Kylie and I left at half-time to go to Marzen's. Corbin and Saddah=king and queen. Cute. :) We lost against Waterloo East, 10-13. Oh well.
Saturday I worked in the morning. Then got ready for the dance. Went over to Kristin's house with Kylie. Emily did our hair. She's AMAZING! :)
Over to Victor's Place downtown where we ate AMAZING food--courtesy of Rachel Rocha's parents. THANK YOU! Then we left to go to the dance. Super fun. Saw my Catie lady :) asked why she was there.... lol. Whoops! XD
Afterparty at my house. We played what-if, started a movie, people went on a walk. Then left. It was a good night.
This morning I didn't go to church. My cold is killing me. Rawr.

Today I found out that people read my blog!!!! :D
Yay!
All-State is going... still.
I think I'm losing my voice.
And I'm pretty darn stressed from school-block mostly.
I still have the coolest friends. :)
I can't wait for homecoming festivities on Friday/Saturday!
I don't really think I like my dress, though.
I mean, I like it, but it's not homecoming-y... eh.
Whatever.
I have the best date, so it's all good. :)
And. Um. I should be writing my LA paper right now, so I think I'm going to end there for lack of better things to rant about.
OH!
I'm not going to take piano lessons this year.
It's decided. Done.
But you should still hire me to accompany you.
I love it more than anything.
